Our Tea

Assam Tea, named after Northern India’s Assam Valley region, is the largest tea growing region in the world. Assam Tea is commonly known as English breakfast tea, or Irish breakfast tea. Packed with antioxidants, Assam Tea is a full bodied tea and has plenty of health benefits.

  • Grams per cup of 500cc of filtered water: 4 to 6
  • Steeping time: 4 ½  to 5 mins
  • Temperature of water: 100°C

Teabrary’s Green Tea is unoxidised, and has a stronger leafy flavour. Pan-firing the leaves immediately after harvesting, accentuates Teabrary’s green tea natural flavours. Our green tea is traditionally consumed without added flavouring, sugar, or milk, and can be enjoyed as a hot beverage.

Teabrary’s Jin Xuan Oolong Tea is a world renowned variety grown in Taiwan. This variety is known as Taiwan Tea number 12 and is grown in highlands plantations of Taiwan. The unique palate of this tea has tones of vanilla, jasmine and a refreshing and smooth buttery finish when brewed correctly. This increasing popular tea is one of our specialty tea. Genuine Jin Xuan naturally tastes milky, some producers produce artificial Jin Xuan through additives. At Teabrary, this is frowned upon, the delicate taste of our Jin Xuan Oolong is perfected over the years by scientifically balancing the right amount of oxidation and fermentation.

Black Oolong Tea comes from Anxi Country in Fujian Province, China. The mountainous terrain provides the perfect mix of high altitude, humidity and rich soil for tea growing.

Black Oolong Tea is a highly popular premium variety of the Chinese Oolong Tea. Also known as “Iron Godess” or “Tie Guan Yin”. In China, it is a much sought-after and revered tea. Black Oolong Tea has a lot of health benefits, as it is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and amino acids, along with its amazing taste and strong aroma.
